Parks & Rec Aquatic Facilitites

Both Cookeville and Monterey Community Pools were open for private parties only for the 2021 season. We hope to open to the public as usual for the 2022 season but please keep an eye out on this page for more information in the coming future.

Cookeville Community Center Pool

One of the best spots in the Upper Cumberland to beat the heat. The Cookeville pool offers a low and high dive, full concession stand, and many other amenities. This pool has a pavilion that is perfect for hosting all kinds of occasions. Check below for pricing and more information.


Monterey Community Center Pool

What better way to escape from the heat than a quick trip over to the Monterey pool. With one of the only water slides in the area, this pool has many features including a low diving board and plenty of space to lounge around poolside.

Swim Lessons

Parks and Recreation offers individual swim lessons for children ages 2 to 14 at both Cookeville and Monterey pool. Rates and lesson details have not been announced for the 2022 season.


We are always looking for exceptional employees to staff our aquatic facilities! Lifeguarding for Parks and Rec is a great summer job for high school or college students. If you are interested please call the Parks and Rec office at 931-526-8015.
