The Cookeville and Monterey Community Pools will close for the season on Saturday September 3rd. The public swim hours are listed below.

Monterey Pool
A quick trip to the Monterey pool is a perfect way to spend your summer day! With one of the only waterslides in the area, this pool has many great features including a diving board, covered seating, and plenty of space to bring a towel or blanket to lounge pool side. This pool has a handicap accessible chairlift for shallow end pool access.
Cookeville Pool
One of the best spots in the Upper Cumberland to beat the heat! The Cookeville pool has a low and high dive, full concession stand, and a covered pavillion with tables and a bbq grill perfect for family get togethers and birthday parties. This pool has a handicap accessible chairlift for shallow end access to the pool.
Monterey Splash Pad
Your trip to Whitteaker Park will be even better with a stop at the Monterey Splash Pad! This new water feature cannot be reserved for a private party but is a welcoming splash of fun for everyone.

Daily Admission Rates
General admission: $6 per person above the age of 2 years old
$1 off per person groups of 10 people or more
$2 admission per person on Super Splash Thursday’s every Thursday of the summer

Pool Party Rentals
Both the Cookeville and Monterey Pool have no more available parties for the 2022 season. 2023 pool party dates will be available to book in March of 2023.
Swim Lessons
SWIM LESSON REGISTRATION IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO LIMITED INSTRUCTOR AVAILABILITY AND A FULL WAIT LIST. RE-OPENING OF REGISTRATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THIS PAGE AND PARKS AND RECREATION SOCIAL MEDIA.
Lifeguarding
The application period for 2022 lifeguards is now closed. You may apply for the 2023 season in early 2023 if you are still interested.
